The renewal of the church—and through it, the transformation of society—will not happen through strategy OR PERSISTENCE alone. It will happen only by God’s grace and through answered prayer.
The Bonhoeffer Project exists to see world revolution through local movements of Jesus-centered disciple-making. We're working toward a day when the Biblical Gospel fills the Western Church, when Jesus-centered congregations multiply across continents, and when worldwide renewal reshapes how God's people live for the sake of the world.
But we know this: every genuine work of God begins and is sustained by prayer.
History teaches us that renewal doesn't come from better programs or sharper tactics. The Wesleyan revival that abolished slavery and lifted the poor didn't start in conference rooms—it started in prayer meetings. Bonhoeffer himself knew that an illegal seminary training pastors in Nazi Germany could only survive through dependence on the God who moves mountains.
We need a company of intercessors who will join us in crying out to God for this generation.
