By Carmelita Boyce

In 2017, Cindy Perkins met Bill Hull and some of the other men from The Bonhoeffer Project and asked, "Where are the women?" No woman has asked that question since.

Since then, there have been women only cohorts. This is amazing, considering a small percentage of the women get any funds from their church to join a cohort with The Bonhoeffer Project. In other words, they pay for it themselves or gain the support of others.

What kind of projects do women work on during their cohort? Women plan to implement discipleship in their churches, Bible study groups, and their families. They also plan to implement in the business they own, the parachurch ministry God has placed on their heart, with military families, in their workplace, or wherever God has placed them.

Women are hungry to learn what it means to disciple other women. They love God and want to follow where He leads. They want to be trained to do it well. They know that discipleship will help women be more confident in their faith and love in the same way Jesus loved. They hope to change the world one life at a time.

If you have not witnessed a woman's face light up when she realizes God will use her (and her plan) in His Kingdom work, then you are missing something special.

If you would like to support women in Bonhoeffer providing a scholarship, you can easily donate online.

Our friends at Nexus Church Planting & Leadership share how The Bonhoeffer Project has impacted their ministry.

You can support one of our team members individually as well. These folks have poured their heart and soul into full-time ministry with The Bonhoeffer Project - discipleship is in their DNA!
